The Zuiderkerk skyline works well as a layered urban subject, with nearby streets and water giving context to the tower. Move only where a public pavement gives enough space to stop safely.

Use the canal as a leading line

The canal and moored boats lead toward the distant tower. Compare a central viewpoint with a slight move to one side, staying on the public pavement, to separate the tower from trees and façades. Keep some sky above the spire so it does not merge into the frame edge.

A view of the church does not mean the tower or interior is open. Check the current programme if you want a visit, and keep the photo route compact enough to enjoy the surrounding area without racing to the next landmark.
