Nikitin, Nizhny Novgorod

Before selecting a room
Compare the actual category, bed configuration and occupancy; do not infer a family room from floor area alone. Ask about cot or extra-bed availability, age rules, breakfast and any additional charge. For longer stays, a suite does not automatically include a usable kitchen or washing machine. Request those details and the total stay cost explicitly.
For mobility needs, ask about the complete route from vehicle drop-off to reception and room, internal steps after a lift, door widths, bathing arrangements and accessible toilets. Historic architecture, a central location or a hotel star category does not establish step-free access. A lakeside or sea-view category does not mean an easy beach approach.
Confirm the current operating/contracting party, cancellation deadline, deposit, accepted lawful payment and registration arrangements. Use the property’s verified contact to check any payment request. Do not send sensitive documents or payment information to an unfamiliar intermediary merely because it uses a familiar logo.
Match the hotel to the journey
A Moscow hotel can reduce selected central journeys but does not remove the need to choose the actual airport and station. In Saint Petersburg, your side of the river and the exact theatre building matter for an evening return. Kaliningrad is an exclave, and a mainland road route does not establish an available border crossing.
Irkutsk and Listvyanka serve different parts of a Baikal journey; count the base change and any buffer before a critical flight. Sochi’s long coast and the mountain area are separate settings. Vladivostok’s hills can make the last few hundred metres the hardest part of an arrival. Use Getting Around and Car Rental before deciding that a lower room price gives a lower total trip cost.
