Nightlife in Rome

Rome Nightlife, Night Clubs (Italy), Rome Travel Guide and Online Tourist Information

The nightlife in Rome is in a word, “Hot.” If jazz is a love, then Alexanderplatz on the Via Ostia is your place. Alien is the place to dance. Located on Via Velletri the bar was recently remodleed with an Oriental Buddha feel, but the music is anything but Zen in flavor. Saturday is gay night. Alpheus is located on Via del Commercio and from Wednesday to Sunday this club is a mixture of cabaret, concerts and theatrical performances, which are offered in four different halls. The venue changes constantly but their website has all the current performances. The latin American scene is reprensented at Caruso Cafe de Oriente located on Via di Monte Testaccio. That’s where all the salsa aficonados hang out. Caruso offers live music and a DJ. Gilda attracts Rome’s rich and famous crowd. Located on Via Mario de’ Fiori there are two dance floors where people go to see and be seen. Jackets are required.
