The beach at Ipanema is filled with sun worshippers’ from around the world. The beach is picture postcard perfect and diverse sculptured bodies glow with a golden Brazilian tan.

The words beach and Copacabana go hand in hand. It’s hard not to fall in love with the city walking along Copacabana Beach. Copacabana Fort was built in 1914 to guard Guanabara bay and is now a popular tourist attraction. There is activity on the beach day and night. Modern Kiosks line the beach. There are public showers and bathrooms, a bicycle path, bars, restaurants and hotels.
