Pisa Nightlife

The nightlife activity in Pisa is based on the students who attend the university. Pisa is not known as one of Italy’s hottest places to party, but it does have good bars around the Lungarni district and there are some interesting bars around Piazza Garibaldi as well. The trendy nightspots are on Borgo Stretto, but they tend to be on the expensive side. Most of the larger bars turn into clubs later in the evening, so there are plenty of places to dance until one or two in the morning. If things get boring in Pisa you can always go Viareggio, where the action can be more exciting.
