Going to Miami and not going to a beach is like going to a candy store and not ordering candy. South Beach is the most famous beach in Miami. Topless bathing is permitted and there are plenty of jogging paths and some famous South Beach restaurants and nightclubs are just across the street from the beach, which makes things very convenient.

Virginia Key Beach is also known for its secluded spots, but it does get crowded. Haulover Beach is located between Bal Harbour and Sunny Isles Beach and is the only clothing optional beach in the area. Cape Florida State Park has a great beach and you can take a tour of the Guided lighthouse. The park also has a great restaurant called the Boater’s Grill. The Homestead Bayfront Park and Marina is another great beach choice if you want to avoid crowds. The beaches in the Miami area go on for miles. Visit Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and Jensen Beach, as well as the ultimate beach and island adventure, Key Largo.
