What to do

Oslo is surrounded by beauty and is full of contrasts. The city is situated at the top of what’s known as Oslo Fjord and has more forests, lakes and land than almost any other European city. Tourists find themselves visiting islands, as well as kayaking, skiing and ice skating and they never leave the city limits. The Gulf Stream deposits the warm water from the Gulf of Mexico in Oslo’s backyard.
