Prague Health & Safety

Prague Health, Safety and Emergency Info, Prague Travel Guide and Online Tourist Information

Prague does have its share of pickpockets, car break-ins and purse snatchings. Taxi drivers can be rude and they may charge you two or three times the rate, if you’re not careful. It’s also best to stay away from Wenceslas Square at night unless you’re with a group and the area around the train station can also be dangerous. Overall common sense is needed when visiting Prague. It’s a great city, but it does have crime issues.
