Dhoni Mighili, which is six bungalows on a tiny island. Each bungalow comes with its own boat, plus a crew. All the bungalows are thatch on the outside, but have all the modern conveniences on the inside. All meals and extras like snorkeling and champagne are included in the price. Huvafen Fushi is a 44 room modern facility on another tiny island. There’s an infinity pool, a private beach for each bungalow and daily Thai massages are available on the beach.

The 64 suite Taj is a top rated resort that has all the amenities anyone needs on a small sandy island. The beach villas have private pools, as well as beach frontage. The spa is fantastic, and the Jacuzzis are positioned to look over the ocean. The service is impeccable, and the food is outstanding.

Soneva Gilli is another excellent resort filled with modern beach huts and outstanding service and cuisine that's exceptional.

If you want to bring the family, try the Hilton Ranfali Island. It's situated on the secluded South Ari Atoll, which has the best sand in Maldives.
