Things to See & Do in Florida

Some people believe that a trip to Florida would not be complete without a trip to Disney World, Universal Studios, Bush Gardens, the Kennedy Space Center, Sea World and the Everglades National Park.

There is so much to do and so many different points of interest to see in the state that some research should be done before the trip. If you want to spend time in the southern part of the state then Miami and the Keys and all the attractions around them should be your focus. A four and a half hour drive north will take you to Orlando where the theme parks are located and another two and half hour drive west will take you to the west coast. Tampa, Sarasota (which is the winter home of Ringling Brothers Circus) Naples and Ft Myers are filled with cultural sights and historic areas plus the beaches and restaurants are incredible. Florida is the home of hundreds of golf courses, hiking trails, fishing excursions and bicycle paths. A cultural getaway or a romantic getaway in Florida is common and if a luxury vacation is in your plans then spend some time in Miami, West Palm Beach or Boca Raton where the beautiful people come to relax.
