Cuba Beaches

The peninsula on the north coast of Cuba in the province of Matanzas is known as Varadero, and it is considered one of the best beaches on the island. There are several top hotels on the peninsula, which offer guests an assortment of water sport activities.

Cayo Largo del Sur is one of those secluded beaches with fine white sand and crystal clear water. It’s perfect for diving or snorkeling adventures, and it’s the perfect spot for a honeymoon.

Cayo Coco is another outstanding beach that offers fantastic fishing and catamaran trips, plus the exceptional tropical forest that surrounds the beach is untouched by human hands.

Along the north coast in the province known as Holguin sits Guardalavaca Beach, which is actually three different beaches; Playa Esmeralda, Playa Pesquero, and Guardalavaca. The area was once the home of pirates, but today it’s nothing but white sand, palm trees and turquoise water. Located in the province of Camaguey is Santa Lucia Beach. It’s quiet, pristine, and there are no crowds. It’s considered a cheap beach destination; the hotels in the area offer excellent all inclusive room rates.
