The public park in Bournemouth contributes to the natural beauty of the town. It stretches for miles through the River Bourne Valley and through the center of town and eventually stops at the sea. The town is a great place to retire.

Bournemouth also has an established gay community, so there are several restaurants and bars in the center of town that cater to those residents. The Russell-Cotes Museum is just east of the Central Gardens, which are near the Royal Bath Hotel and the Pavilion Theater. The town is filled with Victorian architecture, which includes St Stephen’s Church, built in 1898. The Bournemouth Reform Synagogue and the Bournemouth Hebrew Congregation architecture add more Victorian charm to the town.

Bournemouth still hosts several festivals a year, which include the Literary Festival and Bourne Free, which is a gay pride festival.
