The Tower of the bridge was built by the architect Petr Parlèr. on the frontage of the tower are medieval statues of Charles IV, his son Venceslas IV and three saints, Saint Guy, Saint Adalbert (or Vojtèch) and Saint Sigismmond. The tower was used formerly as prison.
