The astronomical Clock dates from the beginning of the 15th century. Besides the hour, it indicates also the astronomical calendar. It has four mechanical figures which enter moving every hour: the Turk with his mandoline; the rich Man with his money purse; Vanity with its mirror, all three shifting the head to say " not " to the Death, which answers " yes " and opens the mouth to call them out of this world.
