The basilica of the Sacré-Coeur was built from 1876 to 1910 from Paul Abadie's plan, in a Roman-Byzantine style inspired by the Saint-Front church of Périgueux. At a time modern and rich of its medieval past, Paris is never static, but constantly knew plans of urbanization and imposing building work.
