Acquired by the City of Paris in 1803, it was arranged by Brongniart and shelters famous burials (Hélo&icuml;se and Abélard, La Fontaine, Molière, Musset, Balzac, Ingres, Chopin). The park and its sometimes monumental tombs constitute one of strangest walk in Paris.
