The Fountain of Trevi. Ordered by Niccolò Salvi in 1732 to replace the modest basin installed at this place by Nicolas V, the fountain of Trevi was completed in 1762. Leaned against the palazzo Poli, this monumental work in the shape of triumphal arch, owes its name to the tre vie (three streets) which ended to it.
