The most beautiful and best preserved of all the monuments of ancient Rome was dedicated to all the gods. Restored by Domitian after the fire of 80 AD, the temple was rebuilt by Hadrian (125 AD), who made build the imposing rotunda. The obelisk, raised in 1711, comes from an Egyptian sanctuary devoted to Isis.
