Alabaster Mosque
Located in the enclosure of the citadel of Cairo, the mosque, surmounted by a cupola with pendentive, is entirely covered with alabaster of Beni Suef, which is worth its name of "Alabaster Mosque". The mosque contains the tomb of the viceroy Mehemet-Ali who reigned on Egypt from 1805 to 1849.
