The Szechenyi Baths is one of the medicinal baths that started over 600 years ago when the Turks occupied Budapest. The Hungarian State Opera House was completed in 1884. This new-Renaissance structure is modeled after the Vienna Opera House and it is the home of the State Ballet and the State Opera. It is the number one attraction in the city. St. Stephen’s Basilica, which was built between 1851 and 1905, has a 300 foot neo-Renaissance dome and accommodates over 8,600 people. It is the fourth most popular attractions in the city. Buda Castle is the second largest Baroque Palace anywhere and has a constant flow of visitors.
