The Great Synagogue of Budapest is the second of the world by its dimension. It was built in 1859 by the Viennese architect Ludwig Förster. This building with Moorish style is used for the rite "Neolog" (less strictly orthodoxe) of the Jewish community and it also shelters the Jewish National Museum.
